Gone But Not Forgotten San Antonio Night Clubs Update
Cowboy Nightclub was at 5607 Kenwick Dr. on the corner of Kenwick and Joiner. Very early 80's hangout (80-82). This is not to be confused with Cowboys Dance Hall at IH 35 and Fratt Interchange. Cowboys was very small as clubs go. If you look on street view of Google Maps you will see just how small the club was.

A casual review of the Red Rooster swingers club. [ADULT] (Las Vegas ...
The place is called Red Rooster. It’s snuggly tucked away in the eastern suburbs of Las Vegas, is apparently one of the most famous swingers clubs in the country, and isn’t so much a “club” as it is a private residence. In fact… it is a private residence. It’s an old couple’s freakin house.

Clubs on Houstons far west side, circa 1978-1982 (Richmond, Happy: club ...
Visited lots of bars on Richmond Avenue strip of clubs. Saw it evolve over the years. Same as Westheimer constantly growing and changing. There were many other places I visited on the west side but that is all I can remember right now. Lots of fun back then. What was the name of the club maybe on Hillcroft where the Houston Oilers would hang out?

On to the the memory lanes, guys. For those of you who used to enjoy going out back in the days when Michael Jackson's the king of discos, I'm sure you guys and gals can still remember the names of your fav night clubs back then. Girls with big hair and guys with mullet.

A few months ago I decided to form a non-profit 501c3 to preserve this kind of stuff. If you have photos, pics of clubs, you in the clubs, items you wish to donate, please PM me. IRS just gave me the full legal go ahead. "Memories Incorporated" is the 501c3. More to come later. Officially DBA as "Memories of Dallas".

Older Dallas Nightclubs - Up to Late 1970s. (Commerce, Mildred: school ...
I am building a pretty big database of Dallas nightclubs. I worked many of them from the 70s to 90s but didnt get to Dallas until Dec 76. All of this information is going into a pretty big database - I have folders on 551 clubs now going back to the mid 1800s. Some great places going back to Mayer's Beer Garden - to Angus Wynne's Soul City period.

South Florida Night Life Memories (Miami, Miami Beach: movers, club ...
Great Post - not ot overlook several of the clubs where the brothas hung out - (Miami was great in the 80's for all night partying), 119th St. Big Daddy's Lounge, 8600 Big Daddy's Lounge (big shout to "Frank Hollywood"), Pier 17, Climax (before it went to nude dancing), Green's Lounge in Goulds, The Inferno, Troy's, Tomorrow's, The Starlight Ballroom, Sergio's, Nepenthe, Imoja in West Palm.....

Remembering Dallas in the late 70s-80s (Bryan, Center: 2013, to eat ...
Can't remember the name of the little two-level place in Old Town Village in the back of the complex (east side). Other clubs from around 1973-1976 that I remember include the Red Dog Saloon and Wellington's (owned by Craig Morton) on NW Highway. Mike Ditka owned a bar near Inwood and Maple and he was usually there on weekends.
